We are Everywhere! We are bodies, humans, souls. We move constantly in the same city, silent but at the same time noisy and exhausting. Looking but not seeing, afraid to touch, to connect, to be different. We are everywhere. We humans. And we have a common language, that of our bodies. The language that senses  the same emotions. This specific language we are keen on using. In order for us to get connected, not divided , to get closer, to hug, to create and to dance. Based on this need I created a score that can be  molded, shaped and adapted to different environments. As the performers themselves change, mould, shape and adapt to these environments, they listen and react to the architecture, shapes, forms, sounds, colours and textures of the city, of each city, and each space.  This project began in 2014 when I had my first attempt presenting a “performance” in a non conventional space and more specifically in London’s underground https://www.artcanact.com/this-is-not-a-newspaper . Since then I became very curious on how different environments can inform a performance, and what happens when people recognise there is something unusual happening next to them. This score is based on this ongoing exploration of “breaking” the routine, the habits, the usual -possibly boring- daily pathways of people. Through this performance we want to interrupt people’s mechanical way of living, add some color, surprise them, encourage them to play, to smile, to become part of our performance. ‘Everywhere’ is a performance based on spontaneous choreography and improvisation, which means that the performers never perform the same  twice. Everything is structured in the moment depending on the surrounding stimuli and space. We follow the rules (score) but we are free to interact, play and experiment with the audience, the architecture, the sounds, the smells and the textures of the surrounding space. Ready to transform, to change, to shape, to form and adapt. Everything is in the performance and the performance is EVERYWHERE.
