OPEN CALL for the new website from stage to page

The online platform from stage to page is being upgraded to respond to the changing landscape of contemporary dance, wishing to contribute to the archival record of the Greek dance/choreographic scene, to broaden its audience and to become a starting point for further dialogue.

It invites all choreographers, makers, researchers, dramaturgs, dance theorists and critics to participate in three new sections of the platform, which complement the existing ones:

A. Scores/ Choreographic scores

Materials that emerge during the process of choreographic practice and research such as: text, movement instructions, blueprints, visuals, audio recordings, photographs, short videos or any other creative form. A place to gather and share practices and knowledge from the field for the field.

Submit materials in the following format:

Name of creator, Title of score, Name of the author Name of the score (pdf, jpg, link,…), Accompanying text /contextualization (150 words max) in Greek and English.

Β. Theses

Undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral theses, the result of theory/practice research conducted within the academy, by and for the dance scene in Greece. This section promotes research and opens a channel of communication between artists/researchers/creators/theorists exploring related themes, motivating potential new collaborations.

Send materials in the following format:

Name, Title of work, University where the research is conducted, Degree of study, University, Summary 150 words in Greek and English, 3 keywords
Link of the pdf or email of the author for direct contact with the interested parties, Short CV (100 words) in Greek and English, Accompanying photo/portrait

C. Dance Reviews

Reviews for performances of the Greek contemporary dance scene from 2021 onwards. An indicative collection of published reviews with the aim of highlighting different perspectives on choreographic works.
